In the opening ceremony of the Olympics, the teams of South Korea and North Korea will walk under a unified flag. In addition, it was decided to form a unified women’s hockey team, which will represent the two countries at the Games in Pyeongchang.

North Korea will send a delegation of 550 people to the Olympics and 150 people to the Paralympic Games.

The delegations of South Korea and the DPRK came to the agreement on their own initiative, largely bypassing the ‘permission’ of the United States.
