Venezuela blasts violence in Iranian protests, calls Iran “sister nation” while denouncing Israel, United States
January 5, 2018 – Fort Russ News – Paul Antonopoulos – Translated from Ministerio del Poder Popular para Relaciones Exteriores.
CARACAS, Venezuela – The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Bolivarian People and Government, expresses his deepest solidarity with the People and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in the face of the violent demonstrations that have taken place in that country, and that they have been raised from abroad, in order to destabilize the internal peace of the sister nation of Iran.
The Bolivarian Government repudiates the interference of the Government of the United States of America, and denounces that the Administration of Donald Trump, together with its ally Israel, seeks to take advantage of the internal conjunctures to foment and force, artificially, destabilizing actions to the detriment of sovereignty and independence of the peoples, just as it has done in Venezuela.
The Bolivarian People, faithful to its pacifist, anti-imperialist and non-interventionist tradition, urges the International Community to respect the sovereignty of the Iranian Nation, and to refrain from intervening in the Internal Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It is up to the wise Iranian people to resolve internally, and peacefully, matters that are important for their welfare and prosperity.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, in reiterating its sincere feeling of solidarity towards the Islamic Republic of Iran, wishes that the People and Government of that sister country continue to build and strengthen their own sovereign model of country, without the intervention of any foreign power.
