IDLIB, Syria – Western-backed jihadists have been photographed driving in a truck with Arabic writing on the windscreen stating “see you soon Cross worshipers” in a direct threat to Syria’s Christian minority.
In response to the photograph, Syrian MP and Chairman of the Syrian Federation of Industry, Fares Shehabi, has said on his Twitter that “The future of secular Syria will be in great danger if the Syrian army fails in its mission..”

Despite the overwhelming majority of Syrian Christians supporting the secular government of Bashar al-Assad, the Christian majority West directly and/or indirectly arms, funds and supports jihadist opposition groups in the attempt to overthrow the Syrian leader.
Syrian Christians often question why the West ignores their plight as Western ambitions on Syria will mean the end and/or rapid decline of their community, just as had happened across the border in Iraq with the Christian Assyrians.
