RIYADH, Saudi Arabia – The Saudi government for the first time has allowed flights to use its airspace to reach Israel, according to Israeli Kann News.

“Saudi authorities confirmed definitively and ahead of the new flight of Air India over Saudi Arabia. Maiden flight between the Israel of India held on 18 March this year,” Kann news said in a Tweet in Hebrew.

This will bring flying time between India and Israel to only six hours.

This also comes as Saudi Arabia and Israel are beginning to warm their relations as they find a common enemy in Iran.
