First jihad in Kosovo, now in Syria – WATCH as Albanian ISIS fighters sing religious songs in Deir Ezzor

DEIR EZZOR, Syria – Videos released by ISIS and republished by Eastern Mediterranean News has shown Albanian jihadists in eastern Syria singing a type of Islamic religious song known as a nasheed.

An entire unit of Albanian jihadists operate in the Syrian eastern desert province of Deir Ezzor, one of their last few remaining areas of operation in the country.

Albanians have a long history of jihad, with the most recent example being the ethnic cleansing of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija in southern Serbia.

The so-called Kosovo Liberation Army, engaged in the 1990’s of the ethnic cleansing of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija and engaged in barbaric actions such as beheadings, organ harvesting and rapes.

The Albanians in ISIS have now continued these actions on the Syria front.
