“Today in Amsterdam, for the first time in a while, I have a document proving my identity. Immediately upon arrival in the Netherlands, I was given an identity card that entitles me to live and work in the European Union, the entire procedure took only a few minutes.” he said.
The ex-President of Georgia was earlier deported from Ukraine, via a private flight to Poland. Saakashvili is “stateless” as both countries stripped him of citizenship.
