Russia may sell its unmatched S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system to the US, said the head of the manufacturing company Rostech, Sergei Chemezov. He explained that the S-400 is not a system for offensive operations, but a defensive system. “So, from a strategic point of view, there are no problems in this, and I do not see any problems for Russia from the point of view of security,” he said in an interview published on Saturday in The Washington Post.

According Chemezov, in tense political conditions, countries are trying to ensure their security, so the demand for missile defense systems is high. “Many countries would like to buy such systems, and we have many orders”, – quotes the head of Rostech. Chemezov added that, according to his information, the Russian S-400 is unmatched by any American counterparts.
