HAMA, Syria – The Syrian Army has gone on an impressive offensive and has liberated over 20 sites, including towns, hamlets and hilltops from the ISIS terrorist organization, in only half a days worth of fighting today.
The impressive drive is occurring in an ISIS-held pocket that spans over the Idlib axis (southern Idlib countryside-northern Hama countryside-southern Aleppo countryside).

The sites include Matostiyah, Al-Faydah, Jubb Al-Sukkar, Junaynah, Muksar Al-Sharqi, Al-Hanin, Al-Khatabiyah, Jdeideh, Umm Zahimak, Abu Mahalah, Jubb Al-Hintah, Al-Qinatar, Abu Habaya, Marami Bani Halal, Al-Buydah, ‘Aqlah, Mushayrifah, Abu Al-Qanat, Abu Sawaya, and Qa’lat Huwayes.
This now brings the total number of liberated sites to over 70 in only a 48 hour period.
The Syrian Army, led by the elite Tiger Forces, halted their offensive against the Al-Qaeda affiliated Al-Nusra Front in Idlib so that they could concentrate on clearing the ISIS pocket. It has proven to be a very successful operation so far.
