MAJOR: Kurdish-led forces accuse Turkey of using napalm in Syria’s Afrin

February 2, 2018 – Fort Russ News – Paul Antonopoulos

AFRIN, Syria – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) suggested that the Turkish army used napalm in Afrin, during a conference on the current humanitarian situation on Thursday in Ayn Issa camp Syria’s Raqqa province.

The SDF are led by the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) who are currently battling the Turkish military and their Syrian militant proxies in Afrin canton in Syria’s northwest.

Turkey began its “Olive Branch Operation” against the YPG on January 20 to clear the border region of the YPG that Ankara considers as a terrorist organization.

Solid evidence remains to be brought forward that the Turkish military has used napalm against the YPG in Afrin.
