Many jihadist relocate from Idlib to fight alongside Turkish-led forces against Kurdish YPG in Syria’s Afrin

IDLIB, Syria – The terrorist groups of Faylaq al-Sham, Nour ed-Din al-Zenki and the Free Idlib Army have moved many of their fighters in convoys to Turkish territory, according to different statements released by opposition groups.

The reason for this move is so that they can participate in operations against the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) in the northwest canton of Afrin.

The announcements came after jihadist in Idlib downed a Russian jet yesterday and killed the pilot in a gun battle. Details of the Russian hero fighting to the death can be read here.

Since that attack, Russia has been unforgiving in getting revenge, and smashing jihadist positions with non-stop airstrikes, with one attacking killing 30 terrorists alone. Details can be read here.
