The sanctions the US and Europe imposed on the Russian Federation have deprived Ukraine of half of its GDP. This was reported by People’s Deputy Yevgeny Murayev on the air of NEWSONE television channel.

“We need peace to return even to the usual markets: these sanctions are killing the Russian Federation, killing Europe, but most of all they have taken away the incomes of our citizens. We have lost half of our GDP, Russia lost 2%, Europe less than 1%, and we – fully half. Is this a sectional war against the colo? Or against us?” said Murayev.

At the same time, the politician pointed out that in Ukraine they are shutting down plants and creating museums instead of developing industry.

“When they [the authorities – ed] have to trade, they trade, they buy everything they need and sell candy there, but our business and production must rise. We used to make the most technologically advanced rockets in the world, but now — now they will be leading tour groups through these factories,”- summed up the People’s Deputy.

As NEWSONE reported earlier, People’s Deputy Yevgeny Murayev believes that it is necessary to develop a transitional law for the legalization of cars with European registration in Ukraine.
