‘Nearly 100 civilians killed in East Ghouta by Syrian government’ – source? ISIS supporter quoted by mainstream media
February 20, 2018 – Fort Russ News – Paul Antonopoulos
EAST GHOUTA, Syria – News has been circulating that nearly 100 civilians have been killed in East Ghouta by Syrian and Russian airstrikes.
East Ghouta in Damascus countryside is soon to be site of intense battles between the Syrian government and jihadist terrorists, and as always, we can expect the stories of civilians deliberately being targeted.
This disinformation campaign has already began with the Union of Medical Care and Relief Organizations (UOSSM) reporting that 72 airstrikes yesterday has killed 97 civilians, injured 500, and targeted five hospitals.
However, who is the source to this information?
Twitter user @ColoniumKoeln found that some of the sources for this information were Ahmad Sweida, Director of a hospital with the flag of ISIS as seen above, and the second source was Omar Al-Sweid, a so-called doctor from the same hospital carrying a gun as seen below.
Now we ask the question; would you trust such sources?
