PHOTOS: Kurdish YPG capture armored carrier from Turkish-led forces in Syria’s Afrin

AFRIN, Syria – A armored carrier has been captured by the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) from Turkish-led forces in the Syrian northwest canton of Afrin.
The YPG Press Office released photos of the captured carrier as seen in photos above and below.
The captured occurred during intense clashes between the YPG and Turkish-led forces in the town of Sheikh Khoruz.

On January 20, Turkey launched the “Olive Branch” Operation against the YPG, in which they consider to be a terrorist group. Despite over two weeks of fighting, the Turkish-led forces are yet to make any significant gains against the YPG.
