Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that the Russian Armed Forces have taken the world’s leading position in the quality of weapons and combat readiness.
“Events of recent years have shown that we have reached the forefront of the world in terms of combat readiness, the quality of weapons and military equipment,” the head of state said at a gala evening dedicated to the Day of Defender of the Fatherland – 23rd February. This day is generally known as “Men’s Day” when fathers, brothers, grandfathers, teachers receive gifts and acknowledgement from their female counterparts.

Putin stressed that today we can say with full confidence: “Russia’s security is assured.”
