Syrian Army ready to assault jihadist-held East Ghouta, set to be the bloodiest battle of the Syrian war
DAMASCUS, Syria – The Syrian Army, led by the elite Tiger Forces, have almost finished preparations to begin an offensive to liberate East Ghouta in Damascus countryside.
East Ghouta is a stronghold of jihadist forces that the Syrian Army has had little success in liberating.

The Syrian Army has used artillery fire to soften jihadist positions in Ain Terma, Beit Sawa and Mesraba.
It is therefore expected that the assault will begin soon.
