Tanker with $8.1 million of oil disappears off West Africa coast

An oil tanker with 13,500 tons of fuel has disappeared off the coast of Benin in West Africa. The vessel was registered in Panama, on board were 22 Indian crew.
The latest information on the tanker was received on January 31 in the evening, when the vessel anchored off the coast of Benin. The cost of the fuel carried by the tanker is estimated at 8.1 million dollars. It is assumed that the ship could be captured by pirates because of the cargo cost, the crew may be in danger of ransom.
