AFRIN, Syria – Fighters belonging to the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) have struck  Turkish work machine in the Syrian northwest canton of Afrin yesterday.

YPG fighters targeted the machinery in Elî Kera village of Bulbul district with an anti-tank missile.

Machinery like this is usually used to construct trenches or remove obstacles

On January 20, the Turkish military and their Syrian proxies launched “Olive Branch Operation” to remove the YPG from the border between Turkey and Syria.

In over two weeks of fighting they have made little progress.
