The head of the DPR reported about the identification of all those involved in the murder of Givi*
According to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko, all those involved in the murder of the militia commander of the of the “Somali” Battalion Mikhail Tolstykh (call sign Givi – ed) have been identified. The leader of the Republic said this during a conversation with journalists.
“All persons are identified, some are detained. Not all are detained, I can not tell everything. There is an active search for those who have not yet been not arrested. I think we will finish this year,” Zakharchenko said.
In addition, the head of the DPR noted that some of the criminals who were involved in the assassination of Givi also took part in organizing the terrorist act, that resulted in the death of the commander of the Sparta battalion Arsen Pavlov (call sign Motorola -ed.)
We note yesterday that Yuri Butusov, Ukrainian journalist, editor-in-chief of a propaganda publication, said that the Ukrainian secret services were involved in the murder of Mikhail Tolstykh, and that they had been preparing the crime for two years.
On February 8, at 06:12 Moscow time, as a result of the terrorist act, the hero of the DPR, the commander of the Somali battalion, was killed.
On February 10, Mikhail Tolstoy was buried with military honors in the cemetery “Donetsk Sea” in the Leninsky district of Donetsk. The grave of “Givi” is located next to the burial place of his friend and associate – the commander of “Sparta” Arsen Pavlov (Motorola), killed in an assassination attempt on October 16, 2016.
According to the leader of the DPR, the real reason for the murder of the commander of Somalia Givi is the intention of the Ukrainian side to continue aggravation on the contact line.
Zakharchenko noted that the terrorist attack that killed Givi is a continuation of the escalation of the conflict, which began on January 29 last year, when the APU attempted an offensive against the DPR.
Later in Ilovaisk, a memorial plaque for the memory of Mikhail Tolstykh was erected.
On January 6, 2018, the mother of the Hero of the Donetsk Peoples Republic handed over the documents and personal belongings of her son to the Donetsk Military History Museum of the Great Patriotic War.
