The prodigy from Russia Mark Vishnya, who at two and a half years of age could count faster than a calculator, has moved with his family to the US.
The mother of 14-year-old schoolboy, Natalia Vishnya, said that the reason for leaving Ekaterinburg for Houston (Texas) was the impossibility of realizing the potential of the boy in Russia.
“Talented children are not appreciated in the country. Education is a nightmare, ” she said, without specifying the essence of her claims.
Mark himself said he is more attracted to the approach to education in Finland, Sweden, Europe, and America. At the moment he is studying at the Pershing bell Schedule school, where lessons are taught in English and Spanish.
In 2007, the two-year-old child from Ekaterinburg, Mark Vishnya, appeared on TV where he showed the ability to be able to calculate difficult mathematical problems faster than they could be put into a calculator by others.
