“In the center of Donetsk, around 15.00h today an explosion was heard throughout the whole city. According to eyewitnesses, an explosive was laid underneath a car.
The driver of the Volkswagen car was injured. His name is not known at this stage. He got himself to the restaurant “Corsair”, where passers-by called an ambulance. There were four people in the other car involved. One of the passengers died on the spot, the remaining three were hospitalized.

The shock waves knocked out the glass in neighbouring houses.
