Britain: ex-Russian intel hospitalized with poisoning
An ex-Colonel of the GRU (military intelligence) Sergei Skripal, previously convicted in Moscow for state treason, was brought to the Salisbury Hospital on suspicions of poisoning.

Skripal was pardoned by President Putin and, along with two other convicts for espionage, was exchanged for 10 people detained in the US. He has since lived in the UK.
