ATAREB, Syria – In a demonstration by the people of Atareb in terrorist-held rural west Aleppo protesting against the fighting between Al-Qaeda affiliated Al-Nusra Front and their rival jihadists operating in the area, Al-Nusra fired onto the crowd.
One man with a head injury can be heard shouting as he is being moved from the scene by his friends: “Bashar is better than them. These dogs”.
This comes as the jihadist areas of control in northwest Syria has once against descended into inter-terrorist civil war.
This has been a common feature since a coalition of jihadists mobilized in Turkey in early 2015 and started a successful operation to expel the Syrian Army from northwest Syria, particularly Idlib province and adjoining countryside areas of neighboring Aleppo and Hama provinces.
