President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, has spoken highly of the human qualities of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. Nazarbayev called Putin a man of his word. He does not act in the way of the famous by Machiavelli advice [it is better to be feared than loved], said the president of Kazakhstan. Putin does not go back on his word, even if it is not profitable to keep it.

“You can work with such a person, such a person can be respected,” Nazarbayev said. The good relations between the presidents over time turned into a real-life friendship. Nazarbayev stated this in an interview to “Sunday time” on Channel One.

The President of Kazakhstan reminded, that Putin inherited the country in the hardest of times: the war in the Caucasus, the collapse of the economy. And now he has more or less straightened things out – said the head of Kazakhstan.

One should not forget about Putin’s successes on the international arena either, Nazarbayev said. Putin has avoided the isolation of Russia. He has put Russia in its place, where it should be, Nazarbayev stressed.

Nazarbayev noted that “trust between leaders, as a rule, leads to trust between states.”

Kind words about Putin were also said by the head of Rosneft, Igor Sechin. According to him, for over 30 years of work under the leadership of Putin, he did not witness any contradictions. Sechin gave the interview in the new movie by Andrei Kondrashov, “Putin”.
