Moscow offers to help Israel-Palestine situation

Moscow is concerned about the situation in the Middle East and is ready to provide a platform for Palestinian-Israeli negotiations. This was stated at an emergency meeting of the UN Deputy Permanent Representative, Vladimir Safronkov.

In turn, the Secretary-General of the United Nations António Guterres called for an independent investigation.

The day before , 17 people became victims of clashes between Palestinian demonstrators, the Israeli military and police. Hundreds are reported to be injured as a result.
