AFRIN, Syria – The Turkish military, who lead a coalition of Syrian proxies through its military to fight the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) in the northwest region of Afrin, has now recruited jihadist women to fight among its ranks.

Photos of the women announcing their formation can be seen below.

This comes as the Olive Branch forces, the operation name dubbed by Turkey, are making efforts now to capture Afrin city from the Kurdish forces. Further details of this can be read here.

The women, whose faces are not revealed, can be seen brandishing and showing off US-made M16 assault refiles. However, despite Turkish-led invaders using American-made weapons and Turkey being in a military alliance with the US through NATO, the Kurdish leadership has blamed Russia for the bloodshed in Afrin. Details of this preposterous claim can be found here.
