President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has urged the EU countries to qualify Russia as an aggressor country in the conflict with Ukraine.

“Four years after the Russian aggression against Ukraine, it’s time for the EU to call the aggressor what it is – an aggressor and a party to the conflict,” the Ukrainian leader said at a briefing in Kiev with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Federico Mogherini.

Poroshenko also invited Mogherini to send a second mission of EU representatives to the Donbass.

“It’s time to promote the provision of defense equipment to Ukraine in accordance with national and international legislation. I addressed the High Representative Ms Magerini with a proposal to send a second mission of ambassadors of the EU Security Policy Committee to Donbass as soon as possible. The first was in September 2015,” Poroshenko called the EU representative.
