Putin says he would have prevented the dissolution of the USSR
Russian President Vladimir Putin revealed that he would have prevented the collapse of the Soviet Union if he could change something in Russian history, he said during the Truth and Justice media forum organized by the Russian Popular Front.
“The collapse of the Soviet Union,” he said when asked which of the events that happened in Russia he wanted to change.
“You see, all my ancestors in the past were peasant serfs, while I am the president,” the head of state explained ironically.
