The coordinator of the friendship group of the State Duma and Syrian deputies, Dmitry Sablin, and the chairman of the People’s Council of Syria, Hammoud Sabbag, were targeted in the shelling of a Syrian government building, which killed four people.
Sablin also informed that the Russian embassy in Damascus was also bombarded. Meanwhile nearby, a children’s football team was in training; Samir Masud, 12, a rising star of Syrian football, was killed.
At a meeting, the situation in East Ghouta was discussed. The meeting was attended by deputies – members of the friendship group with the Russian parliament, as well as a group of deputies who worked as observers in the presidential elections in Russia. They noted the high end organization of elections and their transparency.
Words of gratitude were also given to Russia for its help.
