PRISTINA, Serbia – Six Turks were kidnapped in Kosovo and taken to Turkey to be tried, claiming they are supporters of the preacher of Fehullah Gullen, a wanted figure by Turkish President Reccep Tayyip Erdogan.

Anadolu, a state-owned Turkish agency, reports that the arrests were made thanks to the cooperation of the Kosova security services with the Turkish secret service MIT (Turkish Intelligence Agency) and that the six men returned to their homeland with a private Turkish aircraft.

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj complained through Twitter that he had not been informed about the whole operation and therefore would act “in accordance with his legal and constitutional powers”.

The wanted Jehan Ozkan, Kahraman Demirez, Hassan Hussein Guinakan, Mustafa Erdem, Osman Karakayah and Yusuf Karabina were handed over to the judicial authorities.
