The Ukrainian military has complained of an “incomprehensible device,” which disables their drones.
“An incomprehensible laser device was recently found by our reconnaissance. At first it seems that this is a simple flare reflected on glass. However, when the light went out and then on again, our drone no longer behaved according to the pilot’s commands.”
According to representatives of the Ukrainian army, this is a “new portable device of the Russian electronic warfare complex.” Social media users have stated that this could be an ordinary blue laser, but it doesn’t explain why the drone would stop working (if so.)
