Ukrainian nationalists from “Freedom”, “Right Sector” * and “National Corps” threatened to block Russian diplomatic institutions on March 18 to prevent voting in the presidential elections.

They promise to block the buildings of diplomatic institutions and arrange a “corridor of shame” for those who come to polling stations. The Russian presidential election will be held on March 18. In early February, the Russian embassy in Ukraine informed the Foreign Ministry of the intention to open polling stations in Kiev, Odessa, Kharkov and Lviv. The diplomats asked for increased security measures. The OSCE has promised to help ensure the safety of Russians during voting time in Ukraine.
