WASHINGTON D.C., The United States of America – US Department of State spokesperson Heather Nauert said “it’s simply no surprise that Vladimir Putin was reelected and that he remains the leader of Russia,” during a press briefing in Washington D.C. on Tuesday.

She then also went onto claim that opposition candidates were jailed and intimidated, a far reality from the truth.

Meanwhile, war-loving Arizona Republican Senator John McCain has criticized US President Donald Trump for commending Vladimir Putin for his re-election to a fourth six-year term as Russia’s leader.

The Arizona Republican says, “An American president does not lead the Free World by congratulating dictators on winning sham elections.”

McCain also claimed that Trump has “insulted every Russian citizen who was denied the right to vote in a free and fair election to determine their country’s future.”
