IDLIB, Syria – Intense footage has emerged of rival jihadists battling each other in the Syrian northwest terrorist-held province of Idlib.

The footage released in 3 parts by Eastern Mediterranean News shows German members of the Al-Qaeda linked Al-Nusra Front storming a village somewhere in Idlib’s countryside. The jihadists can be identified as originating from Germany because of the language and dialect they are speaking in the video.

This comes as jihadists in Idlib are once again locked in a civil war. The Al-Nusra Front and their allies are pitted against Ahrar al-Sham and their allies.

The civil war virtually began immediately after the Syrian Army concluded operations in the southern Idlib countryside last month.

Since terrorist forces overran Idlib province after mobilizing and launching their offensive from Turkey, the region has been engulfed in continuous battles between rival jihadist groups. Despite this, the mainstream media celebrated the invasion of Idlib in early 2015 as a liberation from the so-called dictatorship of Bashar al-Assad.

If rival jihadists are engulfed in constant war with each other in a small pocket of Syria they control, it can be expected that with the collapse of the Syrian state, it would disintegrate into a Libya like situation where different factions control different parts of the country.

The above photo also shows war loot captured by a German member of the Al-Nusra Front.

Meanwhile, the Syrian Army’s elite Tiger Forces Division liberated the terrorist-controlled district town of Mudayrah in the East Ghouta area to the east of Damascus city center, footage filmed on Sunday shows. The video can be seen here.
