GAZA, Palestine – Palestinians continued protesting along Gaza’s eastern border near Khan Younis on Friday, as part of the ‘Great March of Return’ movement.
This is part of a wider protest to allow Palestinians to return to their ancestral homes now occupied in the Zionist settler entity known as Israel.
“Israel took everything from us, the homeland, freedom, our future,” 27-year-old protester Samer told Reuters news agency. “I have two kids – a boy and a girl – and if I die, God will take care of them.”
Gaza’s health ministry said that more than 1,300 other people were wounded and tens have died in the protests.
