DAMASCUS, Syria – Satellite images of alleged Syrian chemical weapons sites before and after US-led air strikes were released on Sunday.
Published by Satellite imagery company DigitalGlobe, the images attempt to depict extensive damage that befell the Barzeh scientific research centre in Damascus and the Him Shinshar bunker and storage facility in Homs.
Syria denies that these sites are used for development, production and testing of chemical weapons.
The air strikes came after Washington and its allies accused the Syrian government of a chemical weapons attack on Douma last week. Syria and Russia have called the attack “staged” and a “fabrication”.
