WASHINGTON D.C., The United States of America – With US President Donald Trump bringing the world at the brink of World War Three, it appears the US leader is now appearing to backtrack from earlier threats to attack Syria.

On his Twitter he stated: “Never said when an attack on Syria would take place. Could be very soon or not so soon at all! In any event, the United States, under my Administration, has done a great job of ridding the region of ISIS. Where is our “Thank you America?””

Of course he is attempting to take credit for ISIS being defeated when the overwhelming bulk that credit should be reserved for the Syrian Army, the Russian military and their allies.

However, since hostilities began days ago, this open tweet could suggest a minor softening of Trump’s rhetoric from days ago that was a lot firmer. Of course though, only time will tell.
