Commander of Jaish al-Islam finally leaves East Ghouta


The leader of the “Army of Islam” [Jaish al-Islam] terrorist organization, Essam Bouhayani, left Eastern Ghouta on Wednesday and handed over all his heavy weapons, under an agreement to evacuate the city of Douma, announced by the Syrian Observatory on Thursday.

“Most of the leaders of the Army of Islam from the first row, including Issam Bouhayani, always left at dawn on Wednesday and arrived in northern Syria on the evening,” the director of the observatory told AFP.
