Death of Skripal pets anger PETA activists

The British branch of the organization for the protection of animals PETA demanded to investigate the death of a cat and guinea pigs, who lived in the house of  Sergey Skripal.

“The death of animals is another tragedy in this terrible story, and this time lies with the British authorities,” the head of the British Society for the Protection of Animals PETA, Eliza Allen.

According to her, British law enforcement officials had no right to leave the pets in a locked house. The organization intends to ensure that such stories are never repeated.

The guinea pigs died on their own while a black Persian cat was put to sleep, malnourished. Skripal was allegedly poisoned over a month ago.

The animals were cremated in the secret laboratory in Porton Down. Another cat, apparently, escaped from the cordoned home. Its fate is still unknown.

If only the UK government felt as strongly about being responsible and just as PETA!
