FBI interrogates Russian MMA fighter Emelianenko
Russian fighter Fedor Emelianenko, shortly before his fight with Frank Mir, was interrogated by representatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). This happened in his hotel room, where he stayed at the time of preparation for the fight.
It is known that the FBI interrogated the Russian as a possible witness in the case of the chief of Affliction Entertainment, Michael Cohen, reports “Sport Express.” It was this organization that was organising the fight between Emelianenko and Josh Barnett, but the match never took place because doping was detected in the American fighter’s blood.

No detail of the conversation has been reported. Could it be that the FBI actually suspected Emelianenko of ‘collusion’ in discrediting his opponent?
