MOSCOW, Russia – Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his hope that “common sense” would eventually prevail in the modern world, which is becoming “more chaotic” while speaking at a ceremony welcoming new foreign ambassadors to Russia in Moscow on Wednesday.

“The state of affairs in the world does nothing but cause concern. The situation is becoming more chaotic in the world,” Putin stated.

He then called for calm in international relations and praising the role of diplomacy in “strengthening of global and regional security and stability.”
