Satellite imagery: Russia removes its ships from Tartus

The majority of Russian ships have left the Syrian port of Tartus – this is evidenced by satellite images.

If earlier there were 7 ships, 2 diesel submarines and 2 combat boats, then as of April 11 there was only one submarine in the port.

On April 6, Syrian troops began to liberate the city of the Duma from militants. Later, it was reported that a chlorine bomb had been dropped on the town. Trump accused government troops, Russia and Iran – ifr supporting the “animal Assad”. The US, together with its allies, promised to respond to this “aggression.” Moscow considered this a staged provocation – and it’s not the first time.

The Russian ambassador to Lebanon  said that Moscow would shoot down all missiles if US forces were to use them against Syria. Donald Trump, in turn, urged Russia to  prepare  for a military strike.

It is said that the ships have been moved for training but no further information on their location is provided.
