DOUMA, Syria – Terrorists and their families boarded a bus that left the Syrian city of Douma in East Ghouta on Monday.
They were then evacuated via the Muhayam al-Wafedin checkpoint.
Following talks between the Russian Reconciliation Centre and leaders of the terrorist group Jaish al-Islam, military actions have been frozen in Douma.
In response to this, the al-Wafedin checkpoint has been reopened to enable the withdrawal of evacuees from the city.
Most of those will be relocated to the Turkish-held city of Jarablus in northern Syria.
