TEHRAN, Iran – Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif has made it clear that the renegotiation of the Iran nuclear deal is off the table.
Zarif made the comments while speaking from Tehran on Thursday as speculations that US President Donald Trump will renege on deal.
“Let me make it absolutely clear once and for all: we will neither outsource our security, nor will we renegotiate of add on to a deal we have already implemented in good faith,” said Zarif.
He then went onto explain that these are “futile attempts at bullying.”
Although Israel is spurring on Trump to pull out of the deal, all European parties involved are explicitly against such a move as Iran has been complying with the terms detailed in the deal.
