US transfers a Texas division to Poland

The United States is transferring the 1st Armored Brigade of the 1st Cavalry Division from Texas to Poland in the coming summer.

It is reported that the transfer of this military unit is carried out “as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve , which aims to strengthen the US allies on the eastern border. The brigade includes tanks, combat vehicles, self-propelled howitzers.

At present, an armored brigade of the United States is stationed in Poland, comprising of about 3,500 American servicemen.

 It is expected that US soldiers arriving in the country will take part in the two-week Saber Strike exercises that begin on June 3. A total of more than 10,000 servicemen from 22 states will be involved in the training in the eastern block.
