WATCH as 2,000 Navalny supporters hold unauthorized rally in St. Petersburg
ST PETERSBURG, Russia – A mass of people participated in an unsanctioned rally in St. Petersburg on Saturday that was organised by Russian opposition leader Aleksei Navalny ahead of the Russian presidential inauguration.
Up to 2,000 people protested according to the Main Administration of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Of the 2,000 people who protested, 200 participants were arrested.

Navalny was also detained for holding and organizing the unauthorized protest. He was arrested by police in Moscow.
