WATCH as Syrian Army takes on ISIS, splits them in South Damascus

DAMASCUS, Syria – The Syrian Army has made significant progress in expelling the ISIS terrorist organization from south Damascus.

The Syrian Army in a rapid move said made a significant gain in al-Hajar al-Aswad on Thursday by splitting ISIS fighters into two pockets from a key strategic point just a few kilometers south of Damascus city center.

Syrian forces attacked fortified dens belonging to ISIS in al-Hajar al-Aswad from two directions.

This was in coordination by precise artillery and missile strikes that softened ISIS defenses and allowed the Syrian Army to push against the terrorist group.
