After the pre-premiere screening of the first part of the documentary film “The Color Sector”, which tells about the technologies of color revolution industry, as well as the events in the Baltic States in 1991, Latvia was frightened by evidence of who the participants of those events were, and hastened to “consolidate” the former Latvian military commander Raymond Graube who, in 1991, possibly shot journalists Andris Slapinsha and Guido Zvaygzne with a sniper rifle in their backs.
In fact, Raymond Graube is not even mentioned in the film. However, the plot of the Latvian channel TV3 “Neka Personīga” came out exactly about the fact that the “Kremlin team” shot a film telling how the future commander of the NAF of Latvia, General Graube, shot people in the back.
Latvia’s prosecutor Rita Aksenoka, who conducted the investigation into the killing of people in January 1991, even had time to lie: “A complete lie, propaganda in the spirit of Goebbels, I watched the film.” There is no film in public.
Finally, Indulis Berzins, Latvia’s ambassador to NATO, after watching the trailer of the film and the transfer of “Neka Personīga”, hastened to complain to his colleagues that Russia had once again committed a “hybrid aggression” to Latvia’s independence. Further, the materials were reported to the analysts of NATO’s Stratcom strategic communications center, where the film is branded in advance with “pro-Kremlin misinformation”.
Thus, the well funded center Stratcom, sponsored by the NATO countries, itself became the distributor of the propaganda fake.
According to the authors and directors of this documentary by Andrei Tatarchuk and Sergei Chetvertnogo, the film did not have a budget and was shot “by chance” – while on business trips on other topics in different cities: from Simferopol to Brussels. The work was conducted for a year and a half, expenses – zero.
Recall that at the end of 2016 the weekly “Russian News” published an article that found a witness who told about the shootout on January 19, 1991 between the Riga police who crossed over to the side of those wishing to remove Latvia from the USSR, and a detachment of the Riga OMON.
The source of the newspaper reports that civilian shooting was conducted aiming, and the participants of the shooting were fighters of the future 9th battalion of the guard of the headquarters of the Latvian militia “Zemessardze”, including the future commander of the National Armed Forces, Raimonds Graube.
