We read in Novorosinform: “Russia is with you”: Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to the Donbass on the assassination of Alexander Zakharchenko, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Kremlin official website reported.
The President noted that Alexander Vladimirovich “was a true people’s leader, a brave and resolute person, a patriot of Donbass.”
“The vile murder of Alexander Zakharchenko is another evidence: those who chose the path of terror, violence, intimidation, do not want to seek a peaceful, political solution to the conflict, do not want to conduct a real dialogue with the inhabitants of the southeast. And they make a dangerous bet on the destabilization of the situation, to put the people of Donbass on their knees. This is not going to work,” Putin said.
“I hope that the organizers and executors of this crime will bear the punishment they deserve,” he added.
“I want to once again express my condolences to the relatives and friends of Alexander Vladimirovich Zakharchenko, all residents of the Donbass. Russia will always be with you,” Vladimir Putin stated.
