Where to Seek Asylum in the Event of World War III? Here’s a List of Safest Countries

RELEASE –  Nov 29, 2018 – Recently an international organization has prepared a list of countries, where people would have better security and protection. And it is these places where it would be better to be in the event of a world-wide military conflict.

Experts from International SOS and Control Risks – a global leader in medical and international security services – have published a map covering travel risks for the year 2019, covering the entire globe, which also shows the safest countries in the world.

The map of the world, which establishes various levels of risk marked by color, has several factors, such as the quality of medical care, the level of crime, the degree of terrorist threat and traffic safety standards.

According to the British portal Express, one of the best countries to seek asylum in case of World War III is the small state of Liechtenstein, mainly due to its location between Austria and Switzerland, which are also considered safe countries.

In terms of security, Liechtenstein is the country with low levels of crime and a high number of police officers, the portal said.

Another safe destination is Greenland, one of the largest islands in the world, politically constituted as an autonomous region belonging to the Kingdom of Denmark (also highly valued as a secure state). In the case of Greenland, the high level of security in this region lies in its remoteness from places at risk of conflict.

In addition, the list includes Iceland, often considered a neutral country, where the level of crime is one of the lowest in the world. However, this country is among the most expensive along with Luxembourg.

Other countries mentioned where the security risk is very small are Luxembourg, Norway and Finland.

Meanwhile, the Middle East (especially Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Afghanistan) as well as some African countries (such as Libya, Mali, Somalia, Sudan) are considered to be very dangerous regions.
