KIEV, Ukraine – Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko said on Saturday he would sign a law abolishing the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership between Russia and Ukraine on Monday. On Thursday, the Ukrainian parliament voted to not extend the treaty, which runs until April 1, 2019.
